(China) and COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd (China) along with China Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Design Institute (China), signed a contract in Shanghai for the construction of twelve 14,000 TEU container ships with dual-fuel methanol propulsion. The vessels are scheduled for delivery between May 2027 and March 2029. The contract was valued at USD 2.15 billion.
